Frequently Asked Questions

Bath Resurfacing Bath Re-Enamelling & Bath Restoration Repairs

Below are some of our most frequently asked questions

Q. What are the advantages for resurfacing/re-enamelling?
A. Cost & Time! The cost saving and disruption time saving to re-enamel a bathroom suite is quite considerable. Re-enamelling your suite also saves you the time of traipsing around looking for a new collection, paying someone to take the old suite away and the cost for re-installation…and something you never quite budget for, the cost to repair/renew bathroom tiles & flooring, as you rarely find a suite you like in the same size as before.

Q. How expensive is it to re-enamel a bathroom suite?
A. You would be pleasantly surprised how cost effective it can be. We do not tend to give timescales without knowing more about each job, as bathtub repair damage can vary from job to job and some treatments between stages can take longer due to some damage, however, all respraying repairs will be carried out on the day.

We can give you a more accurate idea of timescales once we know more about the treatment stages your bath may require.

Q. Can I change the colour of my suite?
A. Yes, you can choose from a wide range of colours available.

Q. Do I need to remove the taps?
A. No, we will cover all the surfaces that are not being re-enamelled.

Q. How long does it take to restore a bath?
A. It takes about 4-8 hours on average, this includes setup, restoration, repair and cleanup.

Q. How long before I can use the bath after being restored?
A. You can start using the bath the very next day.

Q. Do we offer a warranty?
A. Yes, we offer a 5 year warranty.

Q. What is the best cleaning product to use on my bath?
A. Abrasive cleaners will clean quickly but will dull the surface over time, washing up liquid is always one of the best cleaning products for a bathroom suite.
